The scope of the audit included management of Commonwealth Government Securities and over-the-counter derivative transactions, comprising interest rate and cross-currency swaps. The audit aimed to: review, and consider opportunities to improve, debt reporting and disclosure; assess the effectiveness of the raising, management and retirement of Commonwealth debt, consistent with an acceptable degree of risk exposure; and determine whether there are opportunities to improve the approach to raising, managing and retiring Commonwealth debt |
