Summary |
A team of scientists, pilots and skydivers travel across North America in a giant airship - the Cloud Lab - to find out more about the earth's atmosphere, one of the least understood parts of our planet. On their journey over the swamps of Florida, the Gulf Coast, the vast deserts of Arizona and the spectacular Californian coast, they encounter some of the most spectacular atmospheric conditions on earth. It's vital work - a better understanding of the atmosphere could help predict natural disasters, improve crop yields and protect wildlife. But they face real danger at every turn |
