Summary |
Part 1 of this paper was published in 2012 (Occasional Paper 126). In the interim, schools in Australia and overseas have tried out the authora's ideas in practice. Here, the first paper'̂s themes are summarised and the author then presents two case studies from projects undertaken in Melbourne Catholic schools, commenting on the lessons their authors have reported. Drawing on the case studies, she discusses how to achieve successful collaboration within and between schools;; how to build staff capacity;; the importance of high-quality facilitation for achieving transferable skills, processes and tools;; clarity of purpose;; measurable outcomes;; and the fundamental need for a structured change process, if schools striving for reform are to achieve their desired outcomes. -- publisher website |
