Summary Meet the Natives USA follows five tribesmen from the South Pacific island of Tanna as they venture to the U.S to observe the natives of this exotic land. This week they venture to Orange County, California, to live with Rand and Rosemary Sperry and their six grown up children. Here, the ambassadors can take their clothes off, swim and smoke cigars in the sun. It isn't so different to home. But the differences begin to unfold; the OC tribe paint their nails, they go jogging to get to where they started from and live in an almost entirely artificial environment - and they always travel everywhere by car. The ambassadors notice that the OC people's rituals focus upon personal appearance. Katie takes them to a spa where they commune in hot water baths, cover themselves with mud and bake in a 'dry sauna'. But the most extraordinary appearance ritual is for the elders. It is called a 'botox party'...PRODUCTION DETAILSExecutive Producer for KEO Films Zam Baring, Jonathan Chinn, filmed and directed by Tom Beard.
