V.1. Thesis - Investigative interviewing of children with intellectual disabilities -- v.2. Clinical portfolio - Attachment and its implications for children's development
Summary
The thesis' research examined the effect of intellectual disability on children's recall of an event across different question types. Overall, it demonstrated that an open-ended questioning style maximises the accuracy of these children's accounts compared to age-matched peers. However, such questions are often under-utilised by police and caregivers in the field
