Summary
The thesis' research examined the effect of intellectual disability on children's recall of an event across different question types. Overall, it demonstrated that an open-ended questioning style maximises the accuracy of these children's accounts compared to age-matched peers. However, such questions are often under-utilised by police and caregivers in the field
