Summary |
Australian director Benjamin Gilmour conducts an intimate insight into the life of an eleven year old boy restrained by the values upheld by his belligerent and fundamentalist Muslim father. Niaz, a sensitive boy who loves music, longs to attend school in Peshawar like his cousin. However, his father, who mends guns for a living in a village in North West Pakistan, forces Niaz to stay home. Nominated for Best Feature Film at the 2008 IF Awards.
