Summary |
Internationally renowned filmmaker Werner Herzog embarks on a dialogue with prisoners on Texas' death row and lets them tell their stories. In this episode, Herzog talks to Hank Skinner. Skinner was sentenced to death 18 years ago for the fatal stabbing of his girlfriend and her two mentally impaired sons. When he was arrested, Skinner claims that he was so intoxicated that he could not even stand when he was apprehended, and that an unknown intruder must have been the perpetrator.
