Summary |
A documentary on the life and work of Louis Malle, French film director of the 1950s and 1960s. Malle produced broad ranging documentaries of the period, and eclectic feature films, which are always different in style and content. Examines the contradictions and dilemmas in his films and the themes which excited him, and his political views. Draws on film extracts from many of Malle's films, and interviews with him, his colleagues and family |
