On this edition of Meet the Press: seven of the prominent world figures attending the Pacem in Terris II international convocation on peace in Geneva, Switzerland. This conference has brought together governmental, political and intellectual leaders from all over the world, participating as private citizens in a search for lasting peace. Guests tonight are Harry S. Ashmore, Deputy Chairman of the Pacem in Terris convocation and Vice President of the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions in California; Chester A. Ronning, China expert and long time Canadian diplomat, who made two trips last year to Hanoi on a peace mission for his government; Olof Palme, Minister of Communications of Sweden; Senator J. W.
