Summary The liturgical movement has reached a new and novel turn in its development. It was begun to wrestle with what has not yet been engaged -- issuing a call to expand itself into other connections and possibilities. With Liturgy in Postcolonial Perspectives, Claudio Carvalhaes continues this turn. The volume brings together Christian, Jewish, and Muslim scholars from different fields and locations in order to expand the dialogue between the field of liturgy and postcolonial/de-colonial thinking. Connecting main themes from both fields, Carvalhaes shows what is at stake in this dialectical scholarship. This volume opens up the liturgical field into new territories, risky thinking, and previously unseen dialectical and dialogical connections
