| Summary |
Set in the cut-throat world of New York publishing, 'THE GIRL IN THE BOOK' follows Alice Harvey (Emily VanCamp, 'CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR'), the daughter of a powerful book agent, who finds herself trapped in a job as a junior book editor while trying to overcome her own writer's block. When Alice is unexpectedly asked to manage the re-release of a bestselling novel based on incidents in her own life, the book's author (Michael Nyqvist, 'THE MILLENIUM TRILOGY') reenters her life and opens a door to painful memories from her past. Alternating between past and present, Alice must find the strength to face the troubling events she has kept hidden all these years and to make decisions that will ultimately dispel her demons.
