Summary Are landscapes and water supplies being ruined by fracking? Dateline reports on the controversial way of tapping into gas reserves that's splitting the US. Meet the new generation of young rebels in Gaza, who are campaigning loudly for change, but not everyone likes what they're saying, and find out how cricket has become a refuge from gang culture in the unlikely setting of South Central Los Angeles.FRACKED OFF!Deep beneath the east coast of the United States lies trillions of cubic metres of natural gas, but far from meaning boom time, it's splitting local communities. Their dispute is over the hydraulic fracking, or fracturing, used to split the rock and release the gas, which protesters claim can also release chemicals into the water supply. Nick Lazaredes meets people in Pennsylvania who say they no longer have fresh water on tap... some have faced illness and even been forced to leave their homes. And now the people of New York are up in arms too over plans for fracking in the Catskill Mountains, which feed the city's water supply. The protest movement is growing, but why are officials so keen to refute the claims and allow fracking to take place?GAZA'S YOUNG REBELSNalan and Kaylan look like any normal teenage sisters - planning a night out and what to wear - but in conservative Gaza City, they stand out from the crowd. And that's exactly what they're aiming to do as part of a new generation of Gazans, hungry not only for the trappings of the West, but also for political change. Sunday's Dateline features a report from French filmmakers, 416 and Sable Rouge, who went to meet the sisters and found out that they're not alone in speaking out. The report also includes the band, DARG Team, which is building up a following of young political activists with its Arabic rap. There's no doubt it's the internet that's making it easier than ever before to get their message out, but the changing face of Gaza isn't pleasing everyone.CRICKET THERAPYCompton is one of the Los Angeles' roughest neighbourhoods... renowned for gang violence and poverty... but it's also becoming well known for its cricket. In the most unlikely of settings, a group of young people have turned their back on crime to form Compton Cricket Club and hit back at the gang culture in South Central LA. Yaara Bou Melhem catches up with the 'Homies and the Popz' in the United States and follows them on tour to Australia, as they travel the world inspiring young people from all walks of life
