In May 2012, the Gender in Management and Identity Special Interest Groups (SiGs) of the British Academy of Management (BAM) organized a joint research seminar entitled 'Exploring the Intersectionality of Gender and Identity'. This third annual joint SIG research seminar aimed to explore intersecting interests and theoretical positions and to identify current debates and common themes connecting the two fields of interest.
