Summary OFF THE RADAR?More than two weeks after it went missing, Malaysian authorities now believe that flight MH370 crashed in the Indian Ocean off Australia. But it raises a crucial question for this country... how could an unidentified passenger jet, way off course, travel the length of the west coast without being detected? Mark Davis looks at the sophisticated surveillance systems that should have been able to spot MH370 heading our way. And he reveals the huge gaps in radar coverage across Australia and its waters. Could they allow a hostile aircraft to approach with little warning? The answers come from a panel of experts... former Chief of the Australian Defence Force Admiral Chris Barrie, University of New South Wales intelligence expert Dr Clinton Fernandes and US aviation and defence expert Ken Christensen. What further light can they shed on the aviation mystery that's captured the world's attention?NEPAL'S ORPHAN TRADEFor the thousands of tourists that flock to Nepal each year, volunteering at an orphanage is a popular way of giving something back to the impoverished country. It's known as volunteer tourism, or voluntourism, but what's the real story of the children they're giving their time and money to help? On Tuesday's Dateline, Evan Williams reveals disturbing allegations of kidnapping, child trafficking, and mistreatment at some of the country's orphanages. He hears evidence that a number of the children aren't even orphans at all and have been taken from their families with promises of a better life and education. But undercover filming and investigation by NGOs reveal how they're instead being used to attract thousands of dollars in donations to the orphanage owners.ORCHESTRA OF DREAMSAs part of marking Dateline's 30th anniversary, we're rescreening memorable stories from the archives, including this inspiring tale from the slums of Sao Paulo. When a devastating fire killed seven people there in 1996, it started a movement which has given thousands of young people a brighter future. Famous Brazilian composer Silvio Baccarelli was so moved by what happened, he founded a classical music institute, which has grown from a handful of students to over a thousand. In August 2012, Aaron Lewis met the students as they performed at one of Brazil's most celebrated concert halls, and heard how their music has inspired a generation in the Heliopolis favela
