Summary |
One teacher, one class, one term. For 3 months we've had unique access to follow Reuben Moore - History teacher - as he teaches his year 7 class across the whole Spring term. From the big issues of planning for progression, through to developing good history questions and the nitty-gritty of delivering personalised learning, we reveal how he deals with the demands faced by the modern-day History teacher. In this, the second of four programmes from Lampton School, West London, Reuben looks forward to his next enquiry. Working with Michael Riley, History consultant, Reuben develops a "really good history question" and a role-play-focus for the enquiry, and we see the class's progress as they work on understanding life in a medieval village. Although specifically tailored for secondary History teachers, many of the issues that arise from Reuben's story will interest teachers of all subjects and age-groups |
