Summary "This report identifies five high priority areas where capacity building gaps exist across a number of EAS countries. These high priority areas include: assessing and managing systemic risk; implementing better risk management systems; stress testing portfolios; enhancing deposit insurance arrangements; and enhancing accounting, auditing and disclosure arrangements. These capacity building gaps were identified based on the findings of a literature review and a consultation program that included visits to key institutions in nine EAS countries and a survey of both capacity building providers and recipients in the region." -- BACK COVER
