| Summary |
The Sex Clinic is a three-part fly-on-the-wall documentary series that charts the stories of patients and staff from two of the UK's busiest sexual health clinics in London and Birmingham as they deal with some of the most commonly contracted STIs.From Chlamydia and Syphilis, to warts and Gonorrhoea, Herpes and HIV this series follows patients visiting these clinics finding out what they've caught, hearing how and from whom they caught it and watching them go through treatment for a range of sexually transmitted infections.After a brief encounter in a car park, Richard is shocked to find a strange spot on his penis and heads to the Birmingham clinic to get it checked out - but it turns out the spot isn't his biggest problem. In London, Simon's been researching his symptoms on the internet and is worried he's caught anal herpes while Raquel is also concerned about her symptoms after the briefest of sexual encounters. Luke visits the London clinic to see if a wild couple of months have put him at risk and is shocked by his results, and porn star Eva May comes in to the clinic to hopefully get the all clear and get back to work.
