Summary Possessed by the devil or just deluded? Dateline explores the increasing demand for exorcisms in Italy, with a rare opportunity to film one taking place; Unmarried women aged over 28 in China are considered over the hill, so how can the country's 'leftover' women find love? Plus, organised crime syndicates, known as yakuza, are deeply entrenched in Japanese history, but now authorities are fighting back.DATE WITH THE DEVILDemand for priests to perform exorcisms in Italy is on the rise, as an increasing number of Roman Catholics say they've been possessed by demons. On Tuesday's Dateline, Nick Lazaredes explores the resurgence in popularity of the centuries-old ritual of exorcising the devil. The Catholic church doesn't often allow the filming of exorcisms, but Nick is given a rare opportunity to watch as a woman who complained of nightmares and headaches goes through the intense and distressing experience. But some dismiss it as a fraud and say it's just a marketing ploy to put the fear of God into people and get them back into church. So are they suffering from demonic possession or just a delusion?LOOKING FOR LOVEEven in a country that's home to more than 200 million single people, finding love in China can be tough. More and more women are putting their careers ahead of finding a partner, and in Chinese tradition unmarried women older than 28 are considered over the hill. And even though there are 118 men to every 100 women in China, they're still finding it hard to meet a partner. On Tuesday, Adrian Brown explores this phenomenon caused as the ambitions of the west meet the traditions of the east. He finds that online dating and matchmaking parties are becoming increasingly popular, while some parents have become so desperate they take details of their single children around 'marriage markets' in the hope of finding the perfect match. So what's the answer for China's 'leftover' lovers?FIGHTING JAPAN'S MAFIABehind the bright neon lights and polite way of life in Japan, exists a network of organised crime syndicates deeply entrenched in the country's history. Known as yakuza, this Japanese mafia was once seen as helping to police the criminal underworld, but more recently has been linked to extortion, drug trafficking and deadly gangland feuds. Now the authorities are fighting back, with new laws forbidding people and businesses from dealing with the yakuza. But can it really put a stop to this billion dollar criminal business? On Tuesday's Dateline, Chan Tau Chou gets a rare insight into the workings of the yakuza, its hold in Japanese society, and the desire of some to stay on the right side of the law.International current affairs show hosted by Mark Davis.
