Summary There is a virtual state of emergency in Jamaica. Every year around 140 people are shot dead by the police - the highest rate of police killing in the world. Janine di Giovanni sets out to investigate the infamous case of the Braeton 7, in which seven young men aged between 15 and 21 were killed. Police say it was a shootout, but witnesses describe the victims' deaths as extra judicial executions. What Janine discovers is that this case was far from a one-off
