Art Nation meets cult American 'lifestyle photographer' Mike Piscitelli.Piscitelli grew up in LA's San Fernando Valley, dropped out of high school and got a job as a production assistant in the pornographic film industry, which spurred his interest in photography and film.He went on to become a celebrated fashion photographer, shooting editorials for magazines such as Dazed and Confused, ID and Another. From there, he went on to photograph musicians and celebrities such as Iggy Pop and Jeff Bridges, winning several awards along the way.Piscitelli made it out to Sydney recently. Art Nation went to a photography shoot to see how his background has influenced his work.
