Summary In late 2008 in the UK 18-year-old Laura Williams became the youngest woman to give birth to conjoined twins after defying doctors' advice to have an abortion. Laura and her husband Aled decided to go against early medical advice and the two baby girls named Faith and Hope were delivered by Caesarean section in late December 2008 in Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.Joined from the breastbone to navel the twins had separate hearts and doctors were cautiously optimistic, however, due to medical complications the doctors were forced to perform the separation of the girls earlier than they would have liked, and tragically neither Faith nor Hope survived. This documentary follows the couple's heartbreaking story as it unfolds.PRODUCTION DETAILS:Filmed, edited and directed by Adam Kaleta; Executive Producers: Peter Davey and Shaun Gilmartin.
