Summary |
This special issue focuses on the growing interest in the role of business in society. The term Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is often used as an umbrella term to encapsulate this. However, despite its roots in the theoretical literature tracing back to the 1930s and its practice dating back further still, our understanding of the reach, impact and value of CSR remains poorly understood and often contradictory. This special issue is an attempt to explore the potential and actual synergies between CSR and quality management as a means of broadening our understanding of CSR |
