A framework for making the most of what a person knows and can do to aid organisational achievement is developed. The ethnographic study draws upon activity theory, giving insight into the 'achievement strengthening' relationship between valuing the diverse outcomes of lifelong learning and team culture and responding, leaderfully, to impacting motivations
