Summary On Tuesday, Mark Davis presents a special edition of Dateline from the Greek capital, Athens, reporting on the economic and political crisis engulfing the country as it prepares for elections on Sunday 17th June. A bailout may have been agreed with the European Union and International Monetary Fund, but parliament and the Greek people are divided over the austerity measures and the effect on their way of life. Featuring interviews with political leaders and analysts, Dateline goes behind the scenes and considers what it all means for the future of Greece, and the rest of the world. We also examine how some of the people hardest hit by the crisis are finding ways to adjust. Amos Roberts reports from the city of Volos, which has established its own alternative currency in response to salary cuts and 20% unemployment.
