Developments of numerical simulation models play an important role in variable controlling models and avoid the time consuming controlling exams which its cost is very high in internet-based plants. This paper compares the various models and propose a novel approach for modeling the end-to-end time-delay dynamics of the Internet using system identification techniques and the Auto-Regressive eXogeneous (ARX) model to obtain the values of relevant parameters and study their dynamics. Experimental measurements show the accuracy and usefulness of the theoretical derivations
