Summary THE KNIGHT'S KIDSThe Prime Minister has started the year in controversy after announcing a knighthood would be awarded to Prince Phillip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth. The decision has been criticised by many, but the PM says it's well deserved because of his charity work here in Australia. One big example of this is aimed directly at kids. It's called the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and it's been running for more than 50 years. We meet one of the kids that's been involved in our newest knight's work down under.MANUS PROTESTSDetainees being held at the Manus Island Detention Centre in Papua New Guinea have held protests to raise awareness about their living conditions and the time it's taking for their claims to be processed. The tense situation has raised questions about how Australia's immigration system works, and why detainees still try to fight their way through it. We explain each step of this system and meet a man who's just made it out the other side.BUSHFIRE ESCAPEEarlier this month, a bushfire hit parts of the Adelaide Hills in South Australia.
