Summary |
This month Jennifer Byrne, Marieke Hardy and Jason Steger are joined by one of Australia's finest writers David Malouf, winner of The Age newspaper's 2007 Fiction book of the Year award. David brings in his all-time favourite book for the panel to profile, Moby Dick. The panel also profile the winner of the recent 2007 National Biography Award, East of Time by Jacob G Rosenberg - a heartbreaking account of life in a Jewish ghetto in Poland during the Nazi occupation and they are joined by Sydney poet Johanna Featherstone, who is the Creative Director of The Red Room - a not-for-profit organisation which aims to develop and promote Australian poetry. |
