Through Hermeneutic-phenomenology the day-to-day lives of gay men caring for their partners with HIV/AIDS were brought alive. The detailed caring each of these men undertook was analysed through two in-depth interviews. This original Australian study examined these men's lives in great depth, giving health care professionals insights into the gay men's daily struggles with life and death
