Summary A self-educated Japanese architect, Tadao Ando (born in 1941) designed the Koshino House for fashion designer Hiroko Koshino and her family in Ashiya, Hyogo, Japan during 1979 - 1984. The house has become a symbol for homemade light and a collection of all the fragments of Ando's architectonical vocabulary -- not to mention the architect's connection to the Japanese aesthetic tradition. The film also tells the Ando's life story and his tendency to solve the mystery of timeless and solid architecture
