Summary Daniel Henshall and Lucas Pittaway star in this chilling drama based on the true story of Australia's worst serial killings, which sees a vulnerable teenager taken under the wing of an amiable stranger, who finds himself trapped as the man's true nature is revealed. Living in a poor, dysfunctional family situation with his single mother (Louise Harris) and his brothers, 16-year-old Jamie (Lucas Pittaway) is presented with a lifeline when a man named John Bunting (Daniel Henshall) comes into the life of his family. The vulnerable Jamie is taken under the wing of Bunting, who acts as the father figure he has never known, but as Bunting's influence increases, Jamie begins to comprehend some of Bunting's true nature - a bigoted and vindictive manipulator. By the time Jamie is almost completely under Bunting's spell, he finds himself unable to emerge from the pressure Bunting is exerting, as the sickening truth of Bunting's secrets come to light.
