Summary |
It is 1926 and escape artist Harry Houdini is the most famous performer in the world. The only thing he is unable to escape is the death of his beloved mother. Obsessed with connecting with her in the afterlife, he offers $10,000 to anyone who can reveal her dying words to him - something only he knows. Enter the beautiful but deceptive Mary and what begins as a con evolves into a far more dangerous affair as Houdini is overwhelmed by Mary's mysterious charm.
