Summary Deleuze, Whitehead, Bergson: Rhizomatic Connections is the first collection of essays to explore the significant connections between the thought of Gilles Deleuze, Alfred North Whitehead and Henri Bergson. Although Deleuze acknowledged the influence of both Bergson and Whitehead on his own work, as yet there are no book length treatments in English of the relations between the three. With contributions by established international scholars from cultural studies, philosophy and theology, this is the only collection of essays exclusively dedicated to examining the articulation between their concepts, methods and modes of doing philosophy and how their thought engages other disciplines. Each essay examines core ideas and themes in the context of the contrasts and relations - the Rhizomatic Connections ₆ between their shared methods and approaches. Deleuze, Whitehead, Bergson will make a significant impact upon and contribution to the scholarship on all three thinkers challenging many of the preconceptions, and 'images of thought', through which these philosophers are all too often read and interpreted
