The objective of this e-book was to generate systematic literature reviews in the field of logistics and supply chain management. As Meredith (1993, p. 8) states, systematic literature reviews are responsible for ""integrating a number of different works on the same topic, summarizing the common elements, contrasting the differences, and extending the work in some fashion.""
