| Summary |
Destination Flavour is a food-inspired road trip around Australia. Hosts Adam Liaw, Renee Lim and Lily Serna meet passionate growers, celebrated chefs and local food heroes from all over the country.In the final episode, Adam hits two of Melbourne's best restaurants to meet the chefs and learn what makes them tick. First he visits 'Flower Drum', a Cantonese restaurant Adam has a special connection with - he once trained there under head chef Anthony Lui. Later he catches up with Ben Shewry from 'Attica' restaurant on the beach near his home on the Bellarine Peninsula.In Far North Queensland, Renee discovers two new food pioneers in this traditional 'cattle and cane' country. George Gonthier was born into a vanilla growing family in the Seychelles, and now he's growing the beans in Australia. Nearby, Gerard Puglisi farms cocoa - another tropical crop that's new to Queensland.Meanwhile, Lily's in Sydney to investigate two kinds of delicious fermented foods. She meets a couple who show exactly how to prepare Korea's national dish, Kim Chi.
