Summary Digvijay Dhabriya's dynamic leadership has helped Dhabriya Polywood Limited (DPL) to grow to an annual revenue of INR 1,344,583,000 as listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange in 2017 and. DPL has a wide range of polyvinyl chloride products with manufacturing units at Jaipur and Coimbatore. With a vision to provide eco-friendly and economical products to its customers, Digvijay has been striving hard to expand operations in India. His elder son Shreyansh graduated from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India and joined Digvijay five years ago, allowing Digvijay to concentrate on production and research and development. Shreyansh is involved in marketing and sales. It is likely that Siddharth will join his father and brother in the future. Digvijay also understands that there is always a possibility of his future daughters-in-law showing interest in the business. Digvijay believes that to be fair and ethical in business a business must create happiness for all and not prosperity for oneself. With his visionary leadership, Digvijay has helped DPL expand and grow rapidly. He credits his success to the support he has received from his family and that his family has been his strength. He believes business is about building strong relationships and retaining them.Although Digvijay has successfully navigated DPL for two and a half decades, he is unsure if his sons can carry on his legacy with his well-established strategies and value system. What if his son establishes his own systems and with different governance practices? Will DPL be able to sustain its philosophy for decades? Will his son continue the ethos established by his father?
