Marjorie E. Scaffa is Associate Professor and Chairperson of the department of Occupational Therapy at the University of South Alabama. She received her Ph.D. in Health Education from the University of Maryland. She received a B.S. in psychology from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in occupational therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including the National Institute of Health, with individuals addicted to alcohol and other drugs, and with their families. She has been responsible for establishing the new degree program and academic department of occuaptional therapy at the University of South Alabama |
