Having examined the physical causes of dyslexia and the difficulties it causes children affected by it, this academic yet upbeat film goes on to discuss ways in which these difficulties can be overcome and to ask if we are right to view dyslexia as a disability. Freed from the blinkers of the traditional, largely verbal ways of thinking, are people with dyslexia able to approach the world in a more creative and productive way?
