| Summary |
The mullti-award winning drama series East West 101 continues on Wednesday nights. The seven-part series explores the fallout from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan through a series of violent crimes committed in Australia. With a slew of awards and an injection of new talent, the third season promises to be more explosive, emotional and gripping than ever. Episode 5 - The Price of Salvation Mere Hahunga has problems with her youngest son, Sam, and enlists the help of Detective Sonny Koa. Sam is going off the rails and Mere pleads with Koa to help save him. However, stopping a youth on a mission of self-destruction is a very difficult task. Meanwhile, Detective Zane Malik is focused on getting the armed robbery gang. But the gang proves to be elusive and strategic. His frustration mounts when Kimberly, the insider, is killed in a cruel execution. Malik is determined to shut down this ruthless gang. He confronts Hunter with the details of Kimberley's death in order to try and get him to provide evidence on the gang.
