Summary |
Beth Craddock (Julie Walters) is a successful, 53 year-old television actress who still believes in Mr Right - despite a number of failed marriages. She thinks she's got it right this time with her fourth husband, James (Bill Nighy), but when he dies tragically in a car accident, just days after leaving her, Beth's world begins to crumble. Beth seeks solace in the arms of young co-star Jerome (Paul Nicholls) and their whirlwind and passionate romance culminates in a riotous and lavish wedding. All seems happy for a while until the pressures of their age difference explode dramatically and Beth takes drastic action to try to stay young |
