Summary |
In 1952 it was announced the United Kingdom would conduct a series of atomic tests on Australian soil. According to this documentary, the Federal Government acknowledged the many indigenous communities living in the area, however, it was decided that the interests of a 'handful of natives' could not be put before the interests of the British Commonwealth. The program follows anti-nuclear campaigner and Elder of Arabunna Nation, Kevin Buzzcott as he travels over unsealed roads, stopping off along the way to listen to the stories of Aboriginal Elders who have experienced the effects of the nuclear industry.
