Summary |
A poignant tour of the importance of art in the lives of visitors to the Pere-Lachaise cemetery in Paris. The Père Lachaise cemetery is the final resting place of a plethora of famous people from all over the world, including Jim Morrison of The Doors. Dutch filmmaker Heddy Honigmann talks to people who have come to pay their respects to famous people like Marcel Proust, Guillaume Apollinaire, Amedeo Modigliani, Maria Callas, the great Iranian writer Sadeg Hedayat, Simone Signoret and Yves Montand. |
