Reports on the pilot study carried out in Western Australia in Term 4, 2007, on the Primary Connections Indigenous Perspective Framework; how the study was organised; educator's feedback from the pilot was that: 1) there was increased engagement with learning for all students; 2) increased awareness of science and Indigenous perspectives; 3) connectedness driving motivation and participation of Indigenous students; 4) increased teacher confidence sna dcompetence in linking science with literacy and Indigenous perspectives; 5) improved relationships and partnerships across the school and wider community; 6) establishment of links between schools, parents and community; Appendices include a summary of teacher interviews; summary of feedback onpilot curriculum unit 'Plants in action Incorporating Indigenous Perspectives'
