The book consists of twenty-two chapters and discusses twenty-three infectious diseases in depth. Each chapter is an interactive scenario structured and flagged to identify: differential diagnosis (DDx); investigations (Ix); treatment (Rx); prognosis (Px), isolation measures (IM) and public health notification and response (PH). By the end of each scenario, clinical, laboratory and public health aspects of the infection have been addressed
