Australian lucerne yellows (ALuY) disease affects lucerne (Medicago sativa L.) seed production causing an estimated $7 million in annual loss to the New South Wales (NSW) and South Australian (SA) lucerne seed industries. This report presents additional information on the ALuY disease including its cause and spread and outlines possible management strategies that can be used by growers to control the disease. This report is targeted at lucerne seed growers, seed production agronomists and consultants who may be involved in ALuY disease management. The report (as well as an associated paper ) is also targeted towards other researchers who are likely to be able to build further on knowledge of this disease
