Summary |
"Rudolf Steiner introduced what has come to be known as "Organic Architecture". In trying to describe these buildings, one finds oneself comparing them with living organisms rather than geometric shapes. This film begins with the construction and completion of the First Goetheanum. Then the fire and ruins, followed by the groundbreaking design, construction and completion of the New Goetheanum. We then examine the surrounding buildings that express Steiner's influence. This film is a visual poem set to music, showing Rudolf Steiner's architectural impulses." -- Website |
