Notes Albumen print photograph of a drawing of an Australian colonial building. Inscribed in pencil in period hand verso: Gala Station. The building is now known as Gala Homestead, and is located on the Lismore-Skipton Road southwest of Ballarat. It is protected by the National Trust. Around the time that this drawing was made the station was owned by John Wilson, who was also the proprietor of Fernshaw in Geelong, another heritage-listed building
