| Summary |
"Lucky" Ryland is the captain of the "Bulinga", a steamer that is taking a cargo of pedigree bulls from the South American port of Vilamonte on a passage home to England. Speed is essential and Ryland is determined to make the trip in record-breaking time even though it means pushing his men and his ship to the limits of their endurance |
