| Summary |
Sorel's relationship with her husband Christopher seems to be on the brink of recovery when he is struck down by a stroke. As he lies in a coma, Sorel is given the manuscript of a novella secretly written by Christopher. She is shocked to discover that not only is it a barely disguised account of their marriage, but it also reveals Christopher's infidelity with a woman they had recently met in Paris.
