Summary |
Local residents, with the support of "greenies" and the unions, oppose the construction of a huge luxury housing project in inner suburbia, Kings Cross, N.S.W. The idealistic young architect of the scheme, Stephen, grows increasingly cynical about his developer boss when pushed to make compromises on the design of the project. When the leader of the anti-project movement goes missing, he joins forces with one of the squatters, Kate Dean. In an escalating spiral of violence and intrigue, Stephen and Kate are drawn together, seeking those responsible for the reign of terror inflicted on the building's opponents |
