Summary |
Summary: A visual and aural diary woven around the meditations and journeys of the fictional character/artist/film-maker, Constant Malernik. Constant begins his creative working life in Sydney in the early 1950s. He is obsessed by many things, particularly by the art of the early 20th century and of the Bolsheviks. These fascinations motivate most of Constant's personal and creative life. The film explores the complex and difficult relationship which exists between aesthetics and politics |
